I am in Denmark and just got my Brando today in size small. I am 180 cm tall, long legs skinny guy at 73 kg with a 109 cm chest, 87 cm waist and 95 cm hips. I have to say choosing the size was confusing as f#%$, but with assistance from Bobhead Support I got my size S and it is perfect, except for one little thing that I will gladly live with. First, this is a great CRUISING jacket. Solid, heavy, tight and of beautiful superior workmanship. It is well worth the money. But it is also super nice just as a jacket! And one thing I asked about, that was confirmed, is not so. Because now that I have the jacket with me I can see the back protector on the Brando is not inserted in the jacket on the pictures the model is using while showing itโs back. Yet I was told it was, which was a major reason for choosing this jacket (and thatโs a good thing) I mean; "the back protector is on and you canโt notice it!โ. The model shows the back with the jacket open. So I have done the same with mine (with the back protector inserted) and though it shows less than normal bulky protectors on other jackets, it still clearly shows, both open and more so when zipped up. The thing is that I like the jacket in every way, and definitely also for casual wear, so I will only wear that ninja turtleback with a smile, when I cruise, which would be only once or twice per summer for some + - 2000 km around Europe visiting friends. I should mention though that the shoulders and elbow protectors are definitely unnoticeable. All of which, including the back protector, were super easy to insert, with little manual effort.
Having said all that, the jacket is gorgeous, it fits like a snug glove and at the same time provides good shoulder mobility and top protection. I can safely state that this will be my last jacket. In my case with my measurements, I do not need the waistband adjustments at all, for the snug fit. But you might have a wider upper body and need a bigger size, potentially resulting in needing to use of the waist straps while riding.
Highly recommended jacket! It takes a certain level of quality control to deliver such quality. That is a professional choice that deserves respect and builds trust.
If in doubt about your size, deliver your measurements to the guys from Bobhead Support and trust their size recommendation. They definitely know what they are doing.
My images show the jacket with the collar raised, no back protector and the label/tag still on.
